CaseValue.law collects the information you voluntarily provide through our case valuation and offer-checker tools, including your name, email address, phone number, and your responses to case-related questions. We also automatically collect limited technical and marketing-attribution data (e.g., IP address, device/browser, pages viewed, and advertising identifiers such as UTM parameters or click IDs).
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to: (1) calculate an estimated valuation for your case; (2) operate, secure, and improve the site; and (3) sell or transfer it to a law firm that pays to advertise on this site so that firm can evaluate and respond to your inquiry. CaseValue.law does not select, recommend, or evaluate any attorney for you.
Sale or Sharing of Your Personal Information
We sell and/or share the personal information you submit — including your contact details, case information, and related sensitive/health information — to Copper State Law Firm, an Arizona law firm that pays to advertise on this site, and to service providers that help us operate the site. Under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), this transfer is a 'sale' and/or 'sharing.' You can opt out at any time using the 'Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information' link in the footer or at /do-not-sell, and we honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).
Consumer Health Data
Because some questions concern your injuries or medical treatment, your answers may be 'consumer health data' under laws including the Washington My Health My Data Act, the Nevada consumer health data law, and the Connecticut Data Privacy Act. Our valuation tools are free to use. Because we may sell or share the information you submit with a law firm that pays to advertise on this site, your participation may be considered a 'financial incentive' under the CCPA/CPRA. The value of the data to us is reasonably related to the advertising fees a law firm pays to receive inquiries. You may withdraw at any time using the /do-not-sell form.
Data Storage and Security
Your information is transmitted securely using industry-standard encryption. For your convenience we retain limited progress data in your browser's local storage for up to 24 hours; we do not store your contact information in local storage. Submitted information is transmitted to the advertising law firm and to our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct or delete it; opt out of its sale or sharing; limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
