Frequently Asked Questions
Is it really free?
Yes — free forever, no account, no signup, no usage limits. The only ask is that the small "Case Value Calculator by CaseValue.law" attribution link below the widget stays visible.
Where do leads go?
Visitors who complete the calculator and ask to be connected with a lawyer are handled by CaseValue.law's own intake. Law firms that want those leads routed to their own inbox instead can register free at casevalue.law/for-law-firms.
Does it slow down my site?
No. The loader is about 2 KB, the calculator lazy-loads inside an iframe, and nothing runs on your page outside of it. Styles cannot conflict with yours.
Can I remove the attribution link?
The attribution link is the entire price of the free widget, so no — except for Pro subscribers, who get white-labeling (custom colors, logo, no branding) at casevalue.law/for-law-firms.
What platforms does it work on?
Anything that accepts custom HTML: WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, Ghost, plain HTML, and most others. Wix has a dedicated custom element. Platforms that block external scripts can use a raw iframe instead — see the docs.
How accurate are the estimates?
The calculator applies the standard special-damages methodology insurers themselves use (medical bills and lost wages with severity multipliers), adjusted by each state's damage caps and negligence rules. It produces an educational range, not legal advice.
Can I limit it to certain case types or my state?
Yes. Add data-case-types and data-state attributes to the snippet — the generator on this page builds the exact code for you.
Run a law firm?
Register free to route the widget's leads to your own intake inbox — or go Pro for full white-labeling.
