Before uploading: your file is sent to a third-party scanning service to extract text and structured fields, then discarded — we don't retain or share your letter. You confirm this letter is yours and accept our handling of the document.

Read full disclosure

1. How your document is handled. When you upload, your file is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to a third-party document-scanning service (Google Gemini) for the sole purpose of extracting text and structured fields. CaseValue.law does not retain a copy of your document after the scan completes, does not use it to train any model, and does not sell or share it with marketing partners.

2. Data security; no absolute guarantee. We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect data in transit. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. You acknowledge that uploads carry inherent risk and that CaseValue.law cannot and does not guarantee the absolute security of any file you choose to submit.

3. Sensitive content; upload at your own discretion. Do not upload documents containing information you are unwilling to have scanned by an automated service — including, without limitation, Social Security numbers, bank or account numbers, medical records unrelated to the claim, or third-party personal data. You are solely responsible for redacting anything you do not want processed.

4. Your letter; lawful use. You represent and warrant that you are the lawful recipient of the document, or that you otherwise have the legal right to upload and process it, and that doing so does not violate any privacy law, non-disclosure agreement, court order, or third-party right (including any obligation to the sending insurer).

5. Release and limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release CaseValue.law, its operators, affiliates, partner attorneys, and service providers from any and all claims, damages, losses, or expenses — direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or otherwise — arising from or related to (a) the transmission, processing, or any unauthorized access to or disclosure of the document you upload, (b) any data breach or interception by a third party despite reasonable security measures, or (c) any decision you make based on the extracted information. You assume full responsibility for your decision to upload.

6. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CaseValue.law and the parties identified above from any third-party claim arising out of your upload, including any claim that the document or its contents infringed a third-party right or was uploaded without authority.

7. Governed by our Terms. Use of this feature is also governed by our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not upload.
